Class Overview

Ronin Athletics offers a variety of classes in Mixed Martial Arts, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Kickboxing. While the emphasis of training in a particular class may be different, the overall format and structure of the class will often be similar.

Here is a brief listing of the different training methods that may be featured in a given class:

• Sport-specific warmups & drills.
• Partner drills/equipment training
• Isolation rounds (theme/goal-based training)
• Open Mat “rolling” (grappling/sparring)
• Calisthenics & bodyweight conditioning

Aside from the progression and growth of your technical expertise, other benefits you will gain as a by-product of consistent training will include:

• Improved cardiovascular health
• Increase in core strength and muscle-tone
• Increased flexibility and agility
• Overall increase in fitness and self-confidence

All students are encouraged to help each other, work together, share techniques and experiment to ultimately express their own unique and individual style.
