An enormous congrats goes out to two RONIN ATHLETICS competition team members, Roger Dardis and  Liz Milizio for their incredible performances at today’s 2009 IBJJF Pan No-Gi Championship held right here in NYC at City College.

Roger and Liz are two of our most active competitors so it was no surprise that they rose to meet the challenge of this international competition and we’re definitely glad they did!

ROGER stepped into the enormous adult men’s medium-heavyweight division facing off against some incredibly powerful grapplers and came away with two solid victories. In his final match Roger came one advantage short of moving on. Congratulations on an incredible performance, Roger!

LIZ, in her first international competition since earning her blue belt, jumped into the women’s blue/purple belt light-featherweight division with three other very seasoned competitors. The matches were all a great display of technical skill from some very tough women and we’re happy to report that Liz came away with two victories to earn GOLD! Congrats, Liz!
